Today we kick off Phase 1 of 7: “Lean-In” which is the first 100-day chunk of our new 700-day curriculum focused on community development and personal growth.
This phase is all about embracing the things that matter in your life and your environments, because if we don’t slip into a dystopian hellscape in the next few years, we will instead be going through our period of great expansion, and those tiny things that you hold dear will be amplified 1000 fold, so embrace the things that matter!
I have drawn a lot of inspiration from Neal Stephenson’s – The Diamond Age, which is one of the best portrayals of the future that I’ve ever read. He’s kinda like the Author C. Clarke of our generation and basically invented MMOs with his other classic novel Snowcrash. In The Diamond Age one of the characters develops seed technology, which are like these powerful tiny devices that essentially grow into whatever resources a community needs. This fundamentally shifts the balance of power in the novel because it ends scarcity and completely decentralizes power. So everyone is just allowed to live and do whatever they want, not a bad ending in my mind.
So what does all of this nonsense mean for you and SN.W Labs? More on this soon but I’m looking for a few brave volunteers who are willing to put in all the hard work to start your own community, or enhance your existing ones with our community building app which we are now in the process of developing. It’s very much a work-in-progress, but it will come with real resources and a strategic bot purpose-built for helping you grow your communities from the ground up.
